Зеленский в интервью Associated Press заявил, что Россия не стремится к мирному разрешению конфликта с Украиной.

In an interview with the American news agency Associated Press, Volodymyr Zelensky shared his views on the course of the war and Russia's position. The President emphasized that Russia does not wish to end the conflict peacefully, and its goal is to destroy Ukraine's freedom and independence. This was reported by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine continues to defend its rights and independence, despite numerous attempts by the enemy to impose its will. Here are the main points from this interview.

Russia does not want to end the war justly

Zelensky noted that Russia does not intend to seek peace on equal terms and is only focused on destroying Ukrainian freedom and independence. For the Kremlin, peace is merely an opportunity to subjugate Ukraine and control its territories, rather than achieving a fair resolution to the conflict.

Negotiations without Ukraine are dangerous

The President of Ukraine reiterated that any negotiations among international players about Ukraine, without the participation of Ukraine itself, are dangerous and unacceptable. Ukraine must be involved in all important discussions regarding its future.

Putin and his "war with America"

Zelensky also pointed out that in Vladimir Putin's perception, this war is actually a struggle against the United States of America. Putin believes he can win and achieve his goals despite all the difficulties Russia faces on the battlefield. However, according to Zelensky, Ukraine has not allowed Putin to reach his objectives.

Security guarantees for Ukraine

Regarding Ukraine's future security, Zelensky stated that an international military presence alone is insufficient to ensure peace. Ukraine needs not only military guarantees but also investments in the defense industry, weapon production under American licenses, and long-term support.

Russia, North Korea, and Iran - a military alliance against the West

Speaking about global threats, the President of Ukraine highlighted the alliance between Russia, North Korea, and Iran, which forms a collective military power directed against the West, particularly the USA. Specifically, North Korea is actively using the experiences from this war for the training of its military.

A global threat from North Korea

Zelensky warned that the involvement of North Korean troops in the war on Russia's side poses a serious global threat that could have significant implications for world security.

Restoration of stability and a just peace

In concluding the interview, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is doing everything possible to restore stability and ensure a just peace for all its citizens. The peace, he stated, must be fair, without dividing winners and losers, with guarantees of national independence and territorial integrity for Ukraine.
