The Russian army is increasing its forces, and the occupiers are forming new brigades. Ukraine is working diligently to deny the enemy any advantages. This was stated by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, November 18, as reported by Interfax-Ukraine. "As long as Russian forces continue to grow, they are strengthening their capabilities. They are creating new brigades," said the Minister of Defense. According to Umerov, by June 1, the Russians had achieved half of their intended goals. The Minister noted that Russia is facing mobilization issues, which is why they are utilizing troops from North Korea. "They have employed many individuals as mercenaries from Africa and Asia. Now they are using troops from North Korea. This indicates that they are encountering problems, but they are not stopping. They are expanding. We are aware of the exact numbers, and it is a significant amount," Umerov stated. The Minister emphasized that Ukraine is working on building its own forces to counteract the threat. "The priority is the defensive operation and stabilization efforts. Therefore, we are focused on ensuring that the enemy gains no advantage," said the Minister of Defense. It is worth noting that, according to media reports, North Korea may send up to 100,000 of its military personnel to support Russia's war in Ukraine.
