Russia has launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in one confirmed death and dozens injured.

The Russian army struck Zaporizhzhia, resulting in one death and approximately 30 injuries. Initially, three injured individuals were reported, but the number later rose to six. This information was provided by Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration.

"Thirty individuals injured from the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia have been transported to hospitals in the regional center. Seven medical teams, along with police and emergency services, are currently working at the site of the strike," Fedorov reported.

Fedorov pointed out that the target of the attack was the city's industrial infrastructure. In the photos and videos he published, burning vehicles and a damaged tram can be seen, along with injured individuals lying on the ground. Furthermore, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had previously warned about the potential use of guided aerial bombs towards Zaporizhzhia.

As a reminder, the Rada passed a law simplifying the process of obtaining citizenship for spouses of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel. On January 8, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted bill No. 12032, which eases the citizenship acquisition process for the spouses of Ukrainian servicemen.
