Российская армия понесла потери: за день ликвидировано 1 690 военнослужащих и множество единиц техники.

Since the onset of Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine on February 24, 2022, until November 20, 2024, the adversary has suffered significant combat losses. These losses encompass both personnel and equipment, which greatly diminishes Russia's ability to conduct offensive operations and sustain military efforts on the battlefield. This information is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Here are the detailed statistics:

  • Personnel: approximately 725,740 individuals (+1,690 in the last few days)
  • Tanks: 9,390 units (+8)
  • Armored fighting vehicles: 19,119 units (+27)
  • Artillery systems: 20,681 units (+49)
  • MLRS (multiple launch rocket systems): 1,252 units (no change)
  • Air defense systems: 1,001 units (+2)
  • Aircraft: 369 units (no change)
  • Helicopters: 329 units (no change)
  • Operational-tactical level UAVs: 19,202 units (+91)
  • Cruise missiles: 2,756 units (+2)
  • Military ships and boats: 28 units (no change)
  • Submarines: 1 unit (no change)
  • Automotive equipment and fuel trucks: 29,648 units (+100)
  • Special equipment: 3,674 units (+2)

These losses indicate significant pressure on the Russian army, which is no longer capable of conducting effective offensive operations on all fronts. The loss of a substantial portion of equipment, personnel, and strategic resources is a direct result of continuous combat and strong resistance from Ukraine.

Furthermore, the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv warned of a potential large-scale air attack on November 20. The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine cautioned about a possible large-scale air assault on November 20 and temporarily closed as a precautionary measure.
