On the morning of November 21, 2024, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the city of Dnipro, targeting enterprises and critical infrastructure. The assault occurred between 05:00 and 07:00 Kyiv time and was carried out using various types of missiles, including an intercontinental ballistic missile, the air-launched ballistic missile "Kinzhal," and cruise missiles. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

Specifically, an intercontinental ballistic missile was launched from the Astrakhan region of Russia, while an air-launched ballistic missile Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" was fired from a MiG-31K fighter jet based in the Tambov region. Additionally, strategic bombers Tu-95MS launched seven Kh-101 cruise missiles from the Volgograd region.

According to operational information, units of the air defense missile forces of the Ukrainian Air Force engaged in air combat and destroyed six out of seven Kh-101 missiles that were aimed at the Dnipro area. No information has yet been received regarding damage or destruction for the remaining missiles.

There are currently no reports of casualties or injuries resulting from the missile strike.
