On the night of January 20, 2025, Ukraine faced one of the most massive drone and missile attacks from Russia. The enemy deployed 141 strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the "Shahed" type, various types of decoy drones, and a "Iskander-M" ballistic missile. The assault was launched from five directions: Millerovo, Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, with the missile fired from the Kursk region targeting the Sumy region. This information is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
To counter the attack, various units of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine were mobilized, including aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare (EW) units, and mobile fire groups.

Additionally, the loss of location for 47 decoy drones was recorded, which did not lead to negative consequences. Two of them returned to the territory of the Russian Federation.
Recall that the Russian Federation struck Nikopol region: an enterprise, a gymnasium, and houses were damaged. The occupiers targeted Nikopol, Marganets, and Pokrovsk communities. There are destructions, but no casualties were reported.
