Рада разрешила увольнять из армии военнослужащих, чьи неполнородные родственники погибли в боевых действиях.

The Verkhovna Rada has passed a bill that allows the dismissal from military service of those servicemen whose half-siblings have died or gone missing during combat operations. This announcement was made by Members of Parliament Alexey Goncharenko and Yaroslav Zheleznyak, who are the initiators of the bill.

According to Zheleznyak, 308 lawmakers voted in favor of bill No. 11531. The law ensures equality of rights for servicemen by granting the right to dismissal to those whose half-relatives, brother or sister, have died or gone missing as a result of participating in combat operations.

Goncharenko, who is the author of the bill, emphasized that significant efforts were made to achieve its passage. It is worth noting that half-relatives are defined as brothers and sisters who share only one parent - either the mother or the father.

Additionally, it should be mentioned that the Rada has approved a law to abolish the MSEC. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has approved in the first reading bill No. 12178, which envisages the dissolution of the MSEC and its replacement with a new system for assessing the daily functioning of people with disabilities.
