In response to the proposal from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada will begin drafting a bill that will enhance the accountability of TCC and SP employees, as well as military medical commission doctors, for the illegal mobilization of citizens who are not subject to conscription. This was reported by Verkhovna Rada deputy and member of the law enforcement committee, Maksym Buzhansky, on his Telegram channel.
"Following the suggestion of Chief of the General Staff Barhylevych and my colleague, MP Pavliuk, we will develop and propose a bill regarding the accountability of TCC employees for attempts to mobilize those who are not subject to it or are reserved," the MP stated.
Buzhansky noted that the law will also apply to military medical commission workers who essentially attempt to classify sick individuals as healthy.
He emphasized that it is unjust for citizens to bear the responsibility for violating military registration rules while TCC and military medical commission employees remain unaccountable.
We remind you that the CPD clarified whether 18-year-old students will be mobilized after the BOVP. In Ukraine, mandatory mobilization begins at 25 years of age. Until that age, service can only be performed under a contract.
