Air defense and electronic warfare intercepted dozens of "Shaheds" in just one day.

Air defense forces engaged 30 Russian drones during the current day – from 11:00 to 20:00. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Saturday, January 4.   It was noted that the enemy launched attacks from the northeastern direction.   "As of 20:00, 14 enemy drones have been shot down, and 16 enemy imitation drones have been lost in terms of location (without negative consequences)," the statement said.   Meanwhile, the Russians have launched new groups of "Shaheds" towards Ukraine. They are primarily located in the airspace of Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.   Recall that during the night on Saturday, air defense destroyed 34 out of 81 drones. Another 47 UAVs were lost in terms of location (this usually occurs under the influence of electronic warfare means – ed.). Due to the active resistance of the Defense Forces, 47 enemy imitation drones have been lost in terms of location.
