Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared that he has received a report from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi regarding the situation in the Donetsk region. The head of state announced this in an evening video address on November 13. "The report from Commander Syrskyi: the front line, and more attention - to Donbas. Additionally, there are attempts by the occupier to expand offensive actions, particularly in the Kupiansk direction," he stated. Zelensky highlighted the combat brigades that have recently shown bravery and effectiveness: the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade, the 60th and 65th Separate Mechanized Brigades, the 68th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, and the 104th, 102nd, and 126th Territorial Defense Brigades, as well as the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade and the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade. The president also expressed gratitude to the air defense forces protecting the skies. Zelensky added that Ukraine is thankful to all partners who assist with missile systems and air defense. He mentioned that his team is currently working to further increase supplies from partners – both for missiles and defense systems, as well as everything necessary to enhance our mobile fire groups. "The strategic goal is to reach such a practical level of cooperation with partners that we can produce the air defense and missile systems we need right here in Ukraine," the president emphasized. It is worth noting that Zelensky reported having a phone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who confirmed that the sixth of the planned IRIS-T air defense systems will arrive in Ukraine by the end of this year.
