Weather in Ukraine from January 7 to 10: expect rain, sleet, and icy conditions.

Next week, Ukraine is expected to experience changes in weather conditions: significant temperature fluctuations and variable cloudiness with light precipitation. The weather will vary across different regions, and both drivers and pedestrians should be prepared for winter challenges. This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

January 7: Relatively dry weather will persist in Ukraine, but light wet snow mixed with rain is possible at night in the eastern and northeastern regions. Caution is advised on the roads, as there is a risk of ice formation across most of the territory, except for the south. Nighttime temperatures will range from 4° above zero to 2° below zero, while daytime temperatures are expected to be between 3-9° above zero. In the southern regions and Prykarpattia, it will be warmer, reaching 8-13°.

January 8-9: During these days, light precipitation is forecasted across the country, except for the south. On the night of January 8, moderate rain and wet snow may occur in Transcarpathia and the Carpathians. The wind will predominantly blow from the southwest and south at a speed of 5-12 m/s, with gusts potentially reaching 15-20 m/s in the eastern and southeastern regions on January 8, and in the western and northern regions on January 9.
