Пленный северокорейский боец о службе в России: "Не знал, куда направляюсь".

A North Korean soldier captured by special operations forces in the Kursk region stated that he served in a reconnaissance battalion and was unaware of whom he would be fighting against. This information was shared in a recording published on social media by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

In the video, the captive answers questions from Ukrainian intelligence through a translator. He mentioned that he arrived in Russia by ship along with about a hundred fellow countrymen, after which they were transported by train.

According to him, some North Koreans were trained to operate heavy Russian military equipment, but he himself did not receive such training.

The man recounted that he joined the army at 17 and served on conscription. He claims he was unaware that he would be fighting in Russia and did not comprehend who he would be battling against.

When asked about the losses in the North Korean army, the captive noted that there were many wounded. He also mentioned that his mother does not know where her son is. In response to a question about his knowledge of the outside world, the captive said he "knew a little."

Let us remind you, Russia is under attack: drones have damaged aviation facilities in Tatarstan and Kaluga regions. Last night, drones targeted industrial sites in Russia, with explosions reported in Kazan, temporarily halting operations at two airports.
