Residents of Russia are increasing the military significance of Balaklava Bay in the temporarily occupied Crimea, which previously operated as a museum. This is reported by the partisan movement ATEŞ.
Agents of the movement have documented that the occupiers are strengthening maritime engineering barriers in the bay, intended to protect against unmanned boats and sabotage groups. Thus, the Russians are once again repurposing the old submarine base, which previously functioned as a museum, for military use.
"This facility, known as Object 825GTS, is located in Balaklava and is an underground complex capable of concealing submarines and providing repair and maintenance services," the partisans note.
Let us remind you that the Russians set up the headquarters of the Russian army in one of the civilian facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The invaders also utilize civilian transport for their movements.
It has also been reported that the Russian occupiers are bolstering air defense forces and assets in the vicinity of the military airfield Gvardeyskoye, located near the occupied Simferopol in Crimea. The enemy is reallocating this equipment from other areas of the front.
