In December 2024, the highest salary among top managers of state banks in Ukraine was received by a board member of PrivatBank.

Alexey Stupak, the chairman of "Smysl Bank," earned 1 million 108 thousand UAH in December, with the contract also stipulating a non-monetary payment valued at 114.5 thousand UAH. Non-monetary payments include travel expenses, training, representation costs, and other expenses related to the duties of a board member.
The average salary for board members of "Smysl Bank" in December was 765 thousand UAH – 44% less than that of the chairman.
The chairman of Oschadbank, Sergey Naumov, did not receive a bonus in December. His salary amounted to 1 million 71 thousand UAH. Similarly, the deputy chairmen and board members of Oschadbank also did not receive bonuses, averaging 824 thousand UAH – 29.9% less than the chairman.
The lowest salary among the leaders of systemic state banks was earned by the chairman of Ukreximbank, Viktor Ponomarenko, whose salary in December was 969.1 thousand UAH.
According to data from the portal work.ua, the average salary in Ukraine at the beginning of 2025 is 22.5 thousand UAH, which is an 18% increase compared to the previous year. Data from the portal robota.ua indicates that the average salary as of January 2025 is 20.8 thousand UAH.
