The servicemen of the National Guard have destroyed a Russian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Igor Klymenko, on Saturday, November 16.
"The fighters of the strike UAV unit of the 27th Pechersk Brigade of the National Guard eliminated a costly Russian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system," he said.
According to Klymenko, the enemy missile system was detected by the guards during reconnaissance activities in one of the most "hot" areas of the front.
"A precise strike completely destroyed the enemy equipment. The value of such a system (depending on the modification) reaches up to 100 million dollars," noted the Minister of Internal Affairs.
Remember, at the beginning of November, the UAV forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a Buk M-2 launch system. It was noted that this was already the fourth high-value enemy air defense system destroyed in the last two weeks.
And at the end of October, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two powerful Pion self-propelled howitzers behind enemy lines.
