В Волыни выявлен канал нелегальной переправки военнообязанных в Польшу по железной дороге.

Operatives from the Volyn Border Detachment, in collaboration with employees from the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police of the region, uncovered a channel for the illegal transportation of conscripted individuals to the Republic of Poland. The criminal scheme was organized by two employees of "Ukrzaliznytsia," who exploited the design features of a railway locomotive to transport men across the border. This was reported by the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine - Western Border.

According to law enforcement, the organizers of the channel, aged 30 and 34, were transporting individuals whom they attempted to illegally smuggle into Poland for a monetary reward. The cost of the "journey" for each conscripted individual was 8,000 US dollars. These funds were received by the suspects for facilitating their clients' entry into railway transport, where they were concealed in specially prepared sections of the locomotive.

The perpetrators were apprehended while attempting to smuggle another conscript at the "Yahodin" checkpoint. During the operation, law enforcement detained both men at the scene of the crime. A criminal case was immediately opened under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation of individuals across the state border).

Both suspects have been formally charged, and the court has imposed a preventive measure of round-the-clock house arrest for 60 days. Law enforcement continues the investigation to uncover all details and participants in this criminal group.

It is worth noting that within a day, border guards detained six "swimmers" attempting to cross the Tisza River. The Mukachevo Border Detachment apprehended six men who were trying to illegally cross the border via the Tisza River.
