Russian aggressors attempted to launch a missile strike on the Yuzhny port in the Odesa region, but Ukrainian sailors intercepted the enemy missile. This was reported by the Ukrainian Navy on Saturday, January 25.
It was noted that a so-called "fifth generation" Su-57 aircraft fired an X-59 Ovid missile. Its target was the civilian port infrastructure. The crew of one of the Navy's boats thwarted the invaders' intentions by destroying the missile.
The military released a video of the enemy target being shot down.
Recall that in just one day, on January 23, Ukrainian forces shot down two Russian cruise missiles. Since the beginning of the war, a total of 3053 such targets have been destroyed.
