Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský awarded the Ukrainian ambassador to the UK and former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi with the "For Diplomatic Merit" medal. This was announced on Friday, November 15, by Lipavský in a social media post on X.   "His courage and personal example have been crucial in repelling Russian aggression, which is an attack on all free and democratic countries. That is why I awarded him the 'For Diplomatic Merit' medal," wrote Lipavský.   The "For Diplomatic Merit" medal is awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic for contributions to Czech diplomacy, foreign policy, or exceptional achievements in the development of bilateral relations.   The head of the Czech Foreign Ministry met with Zaluzhnyi during his visit to London.   The former head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was gifted a personalized jersey from the Donetsk club Shakhtar.   Earlier, Zaluzhnyi stated that Kiev is negotiating with London for the annual training of at least 5,000 to 7,000 students who will work as officials in Ukraine in the future.
