On November 28, Russia launched a massive strike: air defense forces intercepted 76 missiles and 35 drones out of 188 targets.

On the night of November 28, 2024, starting from 7:30 PM on November 27, Russian forces launched a massive strike on Ukraine using various types of missiles and strike drones. This time, the attack targeted energy infrastructure facilities, marking yet another attempt by the enemy to destabilize the energy situation in Ukraine.

According to a report from the Air Forces, radio-technical troops recorded 188 aerial attack vehicles. Among them were:

• 3 S-300 surface-to-air missiles launched from the Belgorod region of Russia, which hit the Kharkiv region.
• 57 X-101 cruise missiles launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation.
• 28 Kalibr cruise missiles, which were launched from the Black Sea.
• 3 guided air-to-surface missiles X-59/69, also launched from the airspace of the Black Sea.
• 97 Shahed-type strike drones and drones of unspecified types launched from various regions of Russia, particularly Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol, Bryansk, and Millerovo.

Air defense missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare (EW) units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine actively repelled the aerial attacks. Thanks to the coordinated actions of Ukrainian defenders, a significant number of enemy targets were confirmed as shot down.

As of 10:30 AM on November 28, it has been confirmed that our forces destroyed:

• 76 X-101 and Kalibr cruise missiles;
• 3 guided air-to-surface missiles X-59/69;
• 35 Shahed-type strike drones and drones of unspecified types.

In total, 62 enemy drones were destroyed as a result of the fight against aerial strikes. This indicates the high effectiveness of Ukrainian defense and its ability to withstand massive attacks on critical infrastructure.
