Russia launched a massive missile attack, resulting in explosions in Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Volyn, and other cities, leaving injuries and destruction in its wake.

Explosions were reported in Kyiv, Lutsk, Mykolaiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, as well as in Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions. Residential buildings were damaged, and infrastructure was affected.

On the morning of November 28, the Ukrainian Air Forces reported the takeoff of Russian strategic bombers Tu-95MS from the "Olenya" airfield. Shortly after 5:30 AM, launches of Russian missiles were confirmed on the territory of Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv, Ivano-Frankivsk in the Vinnytsia region, and Lutsk. This information was publicized by representatives of the Air Forces.

"Activity was noted from 4 Tu-95MS aircraft from the 'Olenya' airfield (Murmansk region), flying in a southeastern direction," the statement said.

According to updated information from the Ukrainian Air Forces, seven Russian strategic bombers Tu-95MS were in the air. By 5:30 AM, missile launches were recorded, indicating a massive attack by Russia on various regions of Ukraine.

In western cities such as Ivano-Frankivsk and Khmelnytskyi, explosions were reported. This was confirmed by Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv on his Facebook page, as well as by the Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Forces in their official Telegram channel.

"Attention! Air defense is operational!", - reported Martsinkiv.

The Air Forces indicated that the Russians are targeting the western regions of Ukraine - Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Volyn, Ternopil, and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts.

It was reported that in the Vinnytsia region, as a result of the enemy missile attack, residential buildings were damaged, an economic building was destroyed, and a private vehicle caught fire. This was reported by the first deputy head of the OVA, Natalia Zabolotna.

"A woman has been injured and is receiving necessary medical assistance. All relevant services are operating as needed. The enemy attack and combat operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are ongoing; everyone is requested to remain in shelters until the all-clear!", - Zabolotna stated.

After 6 AM, explosions were also heard in Lutsk and the Volyn region. This was reported by the city mayor Igor Polishchuk and the chairman of the Volyn OGA Ivan Rudnitsky on Telegram.

It was reported that power went out in parts of the city following the explosions.

"Unfortunately, during the enemy's massive strike, Volyn was also affected. There have been impacts in the region. Emergency power outages have also been implemented," Rudnitsky reported.

He urged residents to stay in shelters until the air raid alert is over.

Later, Polishchuk reported that there were "several impacts" in Lutsk.

Around 8 AM, explosions were heard in Kyiv, and city authorities reported that air defense systems were active. Explosions were also reported in Mykolaiv. This was confirmed by the Kyiv City Military Administration (KGVA) and Mykolaiv Mayor Alexander Senkevich.

"The air raid alert is ongoing! Air defense is operational in the capital. Stay in shelters until the air raid alert is lifted!", - stated KGVA head Sergey Popko.

Later, Popko added that as a result of the Russian missile strike, debris was reported to have fallen in the Dniprovskyi district of the capital - preliminary data indicates it landed in an open area.

"No information about casualties or destruction has been received. Data from the operational summary is being clarified," the KGVA head reported.

Mykolaiv Mayor Alexander Senkevich also reported explosions in the city.

Let us remind you that the Russian Federation deployed Tu-95MS bombers, and reports of missile launches are being reported. Monitoring channels mention five bombers and possible launches of Kalibr missiles. These are expected in the airspace of Ukraine very soon.
