SubscribeHouseholds without centralized or gas heating that use electricity for heating will be eligible for a preferential rate from January 1 to April 30, 2025.
For these consumers, the cost per kilowatt of electricity will be 2.64 hryvnias, provided that the monthly consumption does not exceed 2000 kWh.
There will also remain opportunities for savings for owners of dual-zone meters. From 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, a "night" rate will apply, which is 50% cheaper than the main rate - 2.16 hryvnias per kWh.

Such households will have to pay 4.32 hryvnias per kWh.
However, according to forecasts from some experts, the amounts on bills may soon increase even further. For instance, Oleg Popenko predicted that a rise in electricity tariffs for the population should be expected as early as the beginning of summer - nearly up to 7 hryvnias per kWh.
Previously, the news portal Znai reported that to afford utility bills, one may need to work without days off: when the utility prices are expected to rise.
