The Cabinet of Ministers has made amendments to two resolutions, introducing additional payments for military personnel engaged in combat operations in the Kursk region. This was announced on Friday, November 15, by government representative Taras Melnychuk in a
Telegram message. Military personnel carrying out combat assignments in the territory of the aggressor state will now receive an additional reward of 100,000 hryvnias per month, calculated proportionally to the time spent on the front lines. Additionally, a one-time reward of 70,000 hryvnias will be granted for every 30 days of completing such tasks. The additional reward of 100,000 hryvnias applies specifically to the State Emergency Service, NABU (Special Operations Unit), and police officers. The right to receive the reward remains intact during stationary treatment or leave for recovery following a serious injury. For individuals participating in combat operations on the territory of the aggressor state, there is a provision for exemption from military tax. In the event of a military personnel's death in the territory of the aggressor state, their family members are entitled to a one-time assistance payment of 15 million hryvnias.
