Starting from December, the conscription of reservists will be conducted through the Diia application. This is stated in a resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers, which was adopted on Friday, November 22. The document notes that the conscription of reservists will now be carried out via Diia using electronic lists. It is also stipulated that enterprises must provide a certificate confirming the absence of tax and budget contribution debts in order to obtain the status of "critically important." Furthermore, state and communal enterprises are required to pay their employees at least the average salary for the IV quarter of 2021 (according to State Statistics data – ed.), while private enterprises must ensure that the salary for the conscripted employee is not less than 2.5 minimum wages. Additionally, when considering the needs of territorial communities, the status of a critically important enterprise will be coordinated with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Defense. Authorities that designate enterprises as critically important will be obligated to monitor their compliance with the criteria on a quarterly basis. The new conscription procedure will take effect on December 1, and there will be a transitional period for those who already have deferrals until February 28. Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada adopted
new rules for deferment from conscription. The right to deferment has been granted to civilians who have completed military service, as well as to those whose half-blood relatives have been killed or gone missing. Recall that in October, the
Cabinet suspended the conscription of employees of enterprises until mid-November. Korrespondent.net explored the reasons behind this decision.
