The intensification of diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving peace should support and complement the principle of "peace through strength", as stated in the resolution text. "This principle emphasizes, among other things, that sustainable peace negotiations can only be conducted from a position of resilience and strong defense capabilities, and that a just and lasting peace can only be ensured with adequate security guarantees for Ukraine," the resolution states. It also emphasizes that any peace negotiations should involve Ukraine and respect its right to determine its future.   HUR revealed Russia's mobilization plans for the year   In 2025, the aggressor state Russia plans to recruit at least 280,000 people to replenish the losses of its occupation army in the war against Ukraine, including 126,000 soldiers from the so-called "special contingent." This group consists of prisoners and individuals under investigation or facing debts and other issues.     Kyiv residents urged to close windows and drink plenty of water   Kyiv experienced a temporary deterioration of air quality: an increase in the concentration of suspended particles was observed. The likely cause of the increased pollution levels is meteorological conditions, particularly low wind speeds. To improve air quality, it is recommended to close windows, limit outdoor activities, and drink plenty of water.
