Залог экс-главы Хмельницкой МСЭК уменьшили на 200 млн грн.
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has kept former head of the Khmelnytsky Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission, Tatyana Krupa, in custody. Additionally, her bail was reduced from 500 million hryvnias to 300 million hryvnias. This was reported on Thursday, November 21, by Suspilne.      "Following the review, the panel of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the appeals of the defense, overturned the decision of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv, and issued a new ruling, applying a measure of restraint in the form of detention with an alternative of bail set at 300 million hryvnias. The decision took effect from the moment it was announced and cannot be appealed in cassation," the statement said.   In case of posting bail, Tatyana Krupa will be required to:
  • appear upon summons from the investigator, prosecutor, and court;
  • abstain from communicating with employees of the medical and social expert commission and individuals who have approached the MSEC regarding matters related to this case;
  • inform about any change of residence, surrender her passport, and other documents for traveling abroad.
Tatyana Krupa participated in the hearing via video link.   Krupa's lawyer stated that all funds are frozen, and the Krupa family is unable to provide them. The lawyer also claimed that Krupa should be released on bail.   Krupa was found to have 100 thousand dollars, forged medical documents, and lists of draft evaders with names and fictitious diagnoses in her office. At her home, authorities discovered almost 6 million dollars, 300 thousand euros, over 5 million hryvnias, branded jewelry, and precious items.   On October 7, the court decided to keep Krupa in custody with the possibility of a 500 million hryvnias bail.
