The current President of the United States, Joe Biden, condemned the massive attack by Russia on Ukraine that occurred overnight on November 28 and assured ongoing support. This is stated in a
statement on the White House website. "This attack is outrageous and once again highlights the urgency of supporting the Ukrainian people in their fight against Russian aggression," Biden stated. He emphasized that the United States continues to back Ukraine. "On this day, my message to the Ukrainian people is clear: The United States stands with you. Earlier this year, at my direction, the United States prioritized the export of air defense systems, which are being sent to Ukraine first," Biden said. The American leader also noted the efforts of his administration to enhance Ukraine's energy resilience ahead of winter, as well as to provide other critically important resources, including artillery, missiles, and armored vehicles. Biden further remarked that "Russia continues to underestimate the courage, resilience, and determination of the Ukrainian people." He added that "the United States, along with more than 50 countries, supports Ukraine and its struggle for freedom." As reported, Russian troops launched a massive combined
missile-drone attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure overnight on Thursday. A total of 76 cruise missiles, three guided air-to-surface missiles, and 35 drones were destroyed out of 188 enemy targets. In total,
12 impacts were recorded, primarily affecting fuel and energy sector facilities in various regions. There are
destructions in 14 regions.
