On the night of November 15, 2024, the enemy launched yet another massive attack on Ukrainian territory, primarily targeting the Odessa region. Starting at 21:00, Russian forces fired two guided aerial missiles X-59/69 from the Black Sea and also attacked with 29 strike drones of the "Shahed" type. The drone launches were carried out from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF) and occupied Crimea. This information is reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of Ukraine's air defense forces, by 08:30, one X-59/69 missile and 25 out of 29 strike UAVs had been destroyed. The majority of the aerial targets were shot down specifically in the Odessa region. Air defense also operated effectively in Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, and Ternopil regions.
As a result of the attack, residential buildings, vehicles, and civilian property in Odessa were damaged. Affected individuals are receiving prompt assistance. Efforts to mitigate the aftermath of the shelling and assess the damage are currently ongoing.
