In the Svessa community of the Shostka district in the Sumy region, the number of casualties from the Russian strike has risen to 10 people. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Saturday, January 4. "Sumy. Currently, 10 individuals are known to be injured, including two children, as a result of the attack by Russians on the village of Svessa in the Shostka district," the statement reads. It is noted that a five-story building sustained significant damage, and rescuers evacuated 14 individuals, successfully saving a grandmother. In total, four apartment buildings have been damaged. Emergency recovery and search operations are still ongoing. According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, a total of 15 apartments have been destroyed and approximately 700 windows have had their glazing damaged. The issue of resettling the affected individuals is currently being addressed. Additionally, heating locations have been established based on two stationary invincibility points with a total capacity of 200 people. As a reminder, today the Russians dropped a bomb on a high-rise building in the Sumy region. Initially, there were reports of three injured individuals. Furthermore, yesterday the enemy attacked Chernihiv with Iskander-M ballistic missiles. According to the latest information, one person has died and seven others have been injured.
