Drone attack on Kyiv region: apartments and private homes damaged, with injuries reported among residents.

On the night of November 27, the Kyiv region was targeted by enemy drones. Thanks to the efforts of air defense, the threats were neutralized, and there were no casualties among the civilian population.

On the night of November 27, Kyiv region once again became a target of enemy attacks. Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) continued their attempts to strike the territory of the region. However, due to the effective work of air defense forces, all enemy targets were destroyed, and there were no casualties among the population. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko.

Thanks to the timely response of air defense forces, it was possible to avoid hits on important critical and residential infrastructure. However, the debris from the downed UAVs caused damage: the blast wave shattered windows in 18 apartments and three office spaces across three multi-story buildings in one of the localities.

Additionally, as a result of the explosion, windows, doors, and roofs were damaged in four private houses, as well as four outbuildings and a garage in two districts of the region.

As a result of the attack on the capital, one local resident was injured and hospitalized in the Dnipro district of Kyiv. A woman also exhibited an acute stress response. Police continue to work at the scene and are gathering evidence of yet another war crime committed by Russia. This was reported by the capital's police.

Operational groups are continuing to document the aftermath of the nighttime attack and are coordinating with local authorities. Support is also being provided to families whose homes and property were affected by enemy actions. Efforts are currently underway with international partners to ensure assistance for those who suffered damage from the nighttime shelling.
The Kyiv region continues to stand firm against Russian aggressors, and relevant services are working to minimize the impact of the attack and provide necessary aid to the victims.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian forces destroyed 36 out of 89 Russian drones during the night, with 48 UAVs lost locally, according to the Air Forces. On the night of November 27, 2024, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukraine using 89 strike UAVs.
