Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Serhiy Boyev held a meeting with American partners to discuss security issues and future collaboration within joint projects. This information is available on the website of the Ministry of Defense.

The visit of the U.S. delegation, led by the National Security Council's Director for Ukraine, Winfield Swanton, took place ahead of the Contact Group meeting to assist Ukraine, which will be held in Germany. One of the main topics of discussion was the results of U.S. assistance to Ukraine for 2024 and plans for 2025, including the strengthening of defense and the development of the armed forces.

In particular, Ukraine will continue its efforts to enhance the combat capability of its units, protect its airspace, and develop its defense industry. A crucial element for effectively achieving these objectives is forecasting the volumes of assistance from foreign partners.

The parties also discussed previously announced U.S. investments in the Ukrainian defense industry, including the production of unmanned aerial vehicles and other joint projects.

Significant attention was given to the supply of weapons and ammunition, as well as synchronizing Ukrainian needs with the capabilities of the American side.

Swanton emphasized the critical importance of cooperation in the defense industry and strengthening Ukraine's capabilities through joint projects.

It is worth noting that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has named the countries that threaten Europe's stability. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sibiga stated that North Korea and Russia are actively collaborating to destabilize Europe and the Indo-Pacific region.
