The accuracy of any utility bill depends, among other things, on whether the consumer has submitted the meter readings. This procedure is conducted monthly within the timeframes set by the service provider.

For instance, "Kievteploenergo" accepts consumption data throughout the entire month, starting from the 6th. Bill generation takes place from the 1st to the 5th of each month.

If the consumer has timely submitted the readings from their apartment meters, they will only need to pay for the actual volume of hot water or thermal energy consumed. Otherwise, average consumption data from previous years will be used for calculations.

At the same time, if the consumer receives a bill calculated "on average," they can initiate a recalculation to avoid paying more.

"If the readings were not submitted on time, they can still be corrected. This can be done via the CKS messenger or on the CKS website," said representatives from "Kievteploenergo."
