Price of Loaf
Bread, which many Ukrainians also refer to as "sweet" bread - the loaf has increased in price by just a few kopecks. For instance, the "Rumyanytsia" sliced loaf weighing 450 grams is sold at Novus for 28.49 UAH. In October, the average price for this bread was 28.25 UAH.

The sliced wheat bread weighing 650 grams is sold at Novus for 34.99 UAH, and at Megamarket for 35.70 UAH. The average price is around 35.35 UAH. The "Tsar Khleb" sliced wheat bread weighing 600 grams is available at Metro for 36.57 UAH.
1 Price of Black Bread
Meanwhile, the so-called "black" bread has increased in price by several hryvnias by the beginning of November. For example, the rye bread "Riga Borodynovsky" weighing 300 grams is sold at Metro for 43.10 UAH, at Megamarket for 45.00 UAH, and at Auchan for 43.10 UAH. The average price stands at 43.73 UAH. The average monthly prices in October 2024 for this bread were 42.83 UAH.
