The sale of property is one of the factors that may affect the eligibility for housing subsidies. This was warned by specialists from the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

SubscribeWhen determining the subsidy for the heating season starting in October 2024, the household income from the first and second quarters of 2024 will be taken into account. Thus, if one of the family members sells property in November or December for an amount of 100,000 hryvnias or more, the "winter" subsidy will not be canceled.
However, the income for November and December will be considered when assigning the "summer" subsidy in May. Therefore, assistance may not be continued for the new period.
Additionally, the Pension Fund warns that individuals receiving a subsidy must inform the Pension Fund of Ukraine about any circumstances affecting the provision of assistance within 30 calendar days.

This requirement also applies in cases where the subsidy recipient or a family member receives a one-time income exceeding 25 times the subsistence minimum for able-bodied individuals.
