"We want veterans to feel valued and to adapt easily to a new environment," says the company's HR manager. To achieve this, a support program has been developed that includes psychological assistance, individual mentorship, and a gradual introduction to their responsibilities. "We gradually increase the workload to avoid overwhelming them and to help them adjust to civilian life," she adds.

To enhance the team's understanding of the needs of new employees, the company has implemented the "Understand and Support" program. This includes training sessions on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and its effects. "Veterans have incredible experience in teamwork and problem-solving under stress. The key is to properly integrate this potential into a peaceful environment," the HR department notes.

Is there a difference in pay for veterans? The company states that salaries depend on duties and professional skills, not on the individual. This approach helps avoid biases and maintains an atmosphere of equality.

"Why do we do this? Because we understand that the transition to civilian life is a challenging process. War changes people, but they do not lose their talents and abilities. We want to help them find themselves," emphasizes Pavel Bartkovsky.

The company plans to expand the number of veterans across various departments. At the same time, they are working on enhancing psychological support, organizing corporate events to strengthen team spirit and create a friendly atmosphere.

Attention is also given to employees who are currently mobilized. Their jobs are secured, families receive assistance, and the company prepares gifts for holidays.

"Veterans are individuals who have already demonstrated their capabilities in challenging conditions. Our task is to provide them with the opportunity to unlock their potential in a new role," they conclude at "Ukrainian Chemical Technologies LTD."

The company continues to actively collaborate with foundations focused on veteran employment. The team is open to new partnerships and ready to support anyone seeking opportunities for realization in civilian life.
