SubscribeAccording to some experts, TRCs should be abolished, and their employees sent to the front lines. However, these ideas, as noted by the so-called expert Evgeny Diky, appear unrealistic, writes Ukrinform.
Despite the criticism, TRCs perform an essential function. Their work has become more challenging due to the inaction of local authorities and law enforcement agencies. The task of mobilization has been entirely transferred to the TRCs, creating numerous problems. If Russia had not started the war, there would have been no mobilization, and TRC employees would not have mobilized Ukrainians.

- Lowering the mobilization age. It is proposed to reduce the upper limit of mobilization to 55 years but allow those willing to serve until the age of 70.
- Motivation through financial support. Experts insist on creating additional benefits for volunteers and contract soldiers, such as housing or education at the state's expense.
- The "Army+" app should simplify transfers between units and reduce bureaucracy.
However, the problem lies not only in organization. It is crucial to remember that the enemy of Ukraine is Russia, which does not value its soldiers, sending them into battle unprepared. In contrast, Ukrainian military personnel undergo thorough training. Ukraine is fighting for its existence, and mobilization is a necessary measure to prevent occupiers from entering our homes.
Ideas for improvement:
- Introduce a clear service term so that people do not feel "abandoned forever."
- Notify mobilized individuals in advance, allowing time to wrap up personal affairs.
- Review the military accounting specialty system to utilize potential more effectively.
Mobilization will remain the primary means of staffing the army, but its reform must be transparent and fair.
