The Smolensk Aviation Plant is involved in the production of aircraft for military purposes, such as the Su-25 attack aircraft.

This was reported by Andrey Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

The Smolensk plant provides major repairs and maintenance for aviation equipment.

According to Kovalenko, this enables the Russian Federation to maintain the combat readiness of outdated aircraft.

“The plant is closely linked with other enterprises in the Russian defense complex, supplying components or participating in cooperation to create modern aviation systems,” the head of the CPD added on his Telegram channel.

Kovalenko stated that strikes on such a plant undermine the enemy's ability to keep its aviation operational.

The Rosneft fuel depot in Leski, Voronezh region, was attacked by UAVs for the second time.

The facility stored fuel that the occupiers used, among other things, to meet the needs of the enemy army.
