Future outlook
According to forecasts, the unemployment rate in Ukraine in 2024 is expected to be 14.2%. In the following years, it will gradually decrease:
In 2025, a drop to 11.6% is anticipated.
By 2026, this figure is expected to fall to 10.6%.
It is important to note that the decrease in the unemployment rate is linked to the rising demand for labor, particularly for highly skilled specialists.
Additionally, Politeka reported that the dollar is continuing to rapidly appreciate in Ukraine, while the euro is depreciating amidst overall economic instability; experts advise against selling cash currency.
Despite the fact that the State Budget for 2025 has projected a rate of 45 hryvnias per dollar, it could actually rise to 47 hryvnias by the end of the year.
