Yulia Sanina, a well-known Ukrainian singer and frontwoman of the band The Hardkiss, became a topic of discussion on social media after posting family photos from a skiing vacation.

Instead of receiving compliments, the post sparked a wave of criticism regarding the behavior of the artist and her family during the war.

Sanina recently left Ukraine to reunite with her husband, musician Val Bebbko, who had left the country at the beginning of the full-scale invasion and has not returned since. Prior to this, the singer continued to live and work in Ukraine, but later made the decision to leave.

Together with their nine-year-old son Daniil, the couple went on a vacation in the mountains. Yulia shared photos showing the family enjoying their time on the ski slopes. In the pictures, she showcased her son confidently skiing, as well as moments of relaxation with her husband.

The images were accompanied by a succinct caption: "Long time no see." However, such a post provoked outrage among her followers. In the comments, many accused the singer of disrespecting the Ukrainian society that is grappling with the consequences of the war.

Here are some comments from users:

"The society is traumatized; showcasing a luxurious lifestyle can only exacerbate tensions." "Your husband is a draft dodger skiing freely abroad while others can’t afford such luxuries." "You are jeopardizing your career in Ukraine by posting such pictures." "Many families are separated by war, and here we see ski resorts and a happy family abroad."
