Mid-January surprises Ukrainians with abnormally warm weather, and the upcoming workweek is expected to remain consistently warm and mostly dry.

Monday, January 20
The week will start with dry weather across the country. Nighttime temperatures will drop below zero in some areas:
in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions – down to -4°C;
in the east (Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava regions) – down to -3°C;
in Lviv, Rivne, and partially Mykolaiv regions – down to -2°C.
However, in some areas, nighttime temperatures will remain above zero. During the day, temperatures across the country are expected to range from +4°C to +9°C, in particular:
in Mykolaiv and Odesa regions – up to +9°C;
in Crimea and Kherson region – up to +7°C;
in Kyiv, daytime temperatures are forecasted at +3...+5°C.
Tuesday, January 21
The weather on Tuesday will be similar, but even warmer. Night temperatures will rise to -1...+1°C in most regions. Only occasionally will it drop to -2°C, for example, in Kirovohrad region.
During the day, thermometers in the southern and western regions will show +8...+9°C, while the rest of the territory will be within +4...+6°C. In the capital, daytime temperatures will be +3...+5°C.
Wednesday, January 22
Wednesday will remain dry. Night temperatures will vary between -1...+1°C, although minor frosts down to -2°C are possible in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
During the day, the warmest weather will be in the south and Zaporizhzhia region - up to +7°C. In the central and eastern regions, +5…+6°C is expected, while in most other areas temperatures will reach up to +4°C.
Thursday, January 23
On Thursday, predominantly dry weather will persist. Precipitation is only possible in Crimea. Night temperatures will remain unchanged – from -1 to +1°C, while in the south and east – up to +4°C.
Daytime temperatures in most regions will rise to +5°C, and in the southern regions, Precarpathia, and Chernivtsi region – up to +7°C.
Friday, January 24
The end of the workweek will bring rain to almost the entire country. Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate between -1...+1°C, while during the day – from +4°C to +8°C, with the warmest weather expected in Crimea.
