To strike the enemy's missile factories from a distance of 500 to 1500 km from the Ukrainian border, Ukraine requires genuine long-range weapons, not just kamikaze drones.

As noted by analysts from Defense Express, under the so-called "Victory Plan," Ukraine has requested Tomahawk cruise missiles from the United States, which can be launched from ground platforms. These missiles are known for their impressive range and can hit targets with an accuracy of up to one meter.

Experts suspect that the Ukrainian military is looking at the Typhon ground systems used by the U.S. Army. However, they pointed out that the United States currently has a limited number of such systems—only two batteries with four launchers each. The Typhon systems are equipped with the versatile Mark 41 launchers, which are widely used on U.S. Navy ships.

Among the facilities that analysts consider strategic targets for strikes are the "Raduga" factory, which produces X-101 cruise missiles; "NPO Mashinostroyeniya," which manufactures P-800 missiles and "Zircon"; and the Votkinsk plant, where 9M723 ballistic missiles for the "Iskander" system are produced.

According to analysts, even if Ukraine manages to secure an agreement for Tomahawk deliveries, this may not be enough. In the long term, Ukraine should consider developing its own medium-range ballistic missiles. According to the Jamestown Foundation, the development of such weapons will require at least several years, even under favorable conditions, including adequate funding and access to modern technologies.
