Employees of the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCK) are not authorized to confiscate mobile phones from military conscripts; however, they can restrict access to them in certain situations.
This was announced during a press conference on January 14 by the Deputy Head of the RTC and SP in Kyiv, Larysa Kozak.
She emphasized that while confiscating mobile phones is prohibited, there are other restrictions related to the operation of the TCK.
"I want to stress that representatives of the TCK do not have the right to confiscate mobile phones from military conscripts," - stated Kozak.
At the same time, she explained that the TCK premises are regulated facilities, thus the management has the authority to set rules for the use of mobile devices, particularly to designate specific areas for communication.
"Each TCK should have specifically designated areas for communication where the use of mobile phones is permitted," - the major added.
Additionally, the Deputy Head of the RTC and SP noted that in some offices of the Territorial Recruitment Centers, strict restrictions on phone use are enforced due to special equipment and electromagnetic radiation capabilities.
"In such premises, even we do not have the right to use mobile phones," - concluded Larysa Kozak.
