He discussed this on the program "Personal with Sergey Doiko".
“Of course, today every teacher needs to move in step with the student, with the ongoing educational process, and certainly with the digital process, with the digital development that is occurring in Ukraine and around the world. It is essential to gradually introduce artificial intelligence into the educational process to avoid overwhelming it,” emphasizes Yuri Zakharchuk.
Today's teacher, he notes, is different from what they were 20 years ago; back then, there was only a blackboard, chalk, lesson plans, textbooks, and that was it. While this had its unique charm and these elements haven't disappeared, the tools available now are much broader, thanks in part to artificial intelligence.
According to the guest of the program, this includes various gaming platforms with elements of artificial intelligence, certain augmented reality applications, and the development of interactive pictures. However, all of this should be introduced gradually; otherwise, the educational process will become too saturated. Additionally, he adds, artificial intelligence can be used, for example, to verify fake information.
“So, in this way, artificial intelligence itself serves as an assistant for the teacher. And, once again, for teachers to grow, I believe it's crucial for everyone to master new applications that incorporate elements of artificial intelligence,” states Yuri Zakharchuk.
