If you are having trouble connecting to the Internet, whether loading a website or an application, experts recommend a few simple steps to resolve the issue.
First, try restarting your phone. This may seem like a very basic suggestion, but in most cases, it helps to resolve issues with poor internet connectivity.
If restarting doesn't yield positive results, you need to determine whether the problem lies with Wi-Fi or mobile internet. In the settings or in the "notification panel," try switching from Wi-Fi to mobile internet or vice versa.
If you are experiencing issues connecting to a Wi-Fi network, try restarting your router (turn it off for 30 seconds and then plug it back into the power source). Once all indicators on the router are lit, attempt to reconnect your smartphone to the network.
If the issue persists, it may be necessary to contact your Internet service provider.
If you are having trouble connecting to mobile internet, check if there is a mobile internet indicator (2G, 3G, 4G, or H) at the top of the screen near the signal bars. If there is no mobile internet indicator, try moving to a different location, as there may simply be no coverage there.
You can also enable airplane mode for 10 seconds and then disable it. This will prompt the phone to reconnect to the network, and the problem may be resolved. If this does not help, contact your mobile carrier.
